The grumpy face is because I made him 2 seconds later than he wanted for the bus this morning by taking this picture.David came home from school yesterday and told me his Hoodie was too small. He didn't take it off all day because the neck hole was too small and he couldn't get it off. He asked me if I could make him a new Hoodie. I though this was a perfect opportunity to use one of the felted sweaters I had. A couple of months ago I found a mens XXL gap 100% wool(that is the key) at Goodwill and washed it 2 or 3 time and it was nicely felted. when I got it out I found it was only a little too big for David. So I cut it down and mad this Jacket. The sweater was $5, the zipper was$3 and the snap for the neck was a leftover so for $8 David had a nice felt jacket for school. Here is instructions on the conversion I did, you don't have to felt the sweater first before you make the jacket like I did.
